6th Grade: Workout Wednesday! Be sure to stretch tonight before going to bed. You all worked so hard. I am so proud of you. Please be sure to bring back the second side of the syllabus signed by a parent/guardian. It is EXTREMELY important that you let me know about any existing/persistent medical issues.
7th Grade: Today we focused on the benefits of physical activity. You created posters reinforcing the top ten reasons to live an active life.
8th Grade: Healthy weight management was our focus today. 6th Grade: Today we started our Frisbee Unit. We worked on throwing and catching skills. 7th Grade: Fast Food Challenge. 8th Grade: Today we focused on the power/influence self-esteem has on our lives. 6th Grade: Tomorrow my 6th period (6-1) class will be taking the student learning objective (SLO) pre-test. Please be sure to have a parent/guardian read and sign the back page of the syllabus. Be sure to include any necessary medical information.

8th Grade: SMART Goal Setting assignment is due TOMORROW. Take pride in your work. Be sure to follow and fill out the check list you received in class. Do not forget to complete the reflection as well. MVP's from today's lesson: Get to NOT have to. Take calculated NOT careless risks in life. 7th Grade: Today we focused on becoming pressure proof. We looked at strategies/skills that can be used to recognize and respond to pressure packed situations.
8th Grade: SMART Goal Setting. (S-specific M- measurable A- achievable R- realistic T- timely) Your personal goal assignment is due Thursday August 13th. This includes the SMART goal setting worksheet and the visual. Follow the check list of requirements you received in class today. I hope you have had a great first week of school!
